SMALL ACTIONS, BIG CHANGES

Taking care of our planet starts with small actions that, when we do them together, can make a big difference. One of these actions is properly sorting our waste at the school’s recycling stations, ensuring that each material is handled correctly and, whenever possible, given a second life.

THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR OTHERS IS ALSO TO TAKE CARE OF OURSELVES.

Every day, we share spaces, learning experiences, and activities that make Gimnasio El Hontanar a strong and caring community. For this very reason, when a student is experiencing symptoms of illness or has a contagious condition, staying home is an important way of showing care, solidarity, and responsibility towards those around them.

ALL SET FOR THE END OF THE TERM!

From August 3 to 14, our students will enter a new stage of their academic journey as they take their final assessments for the second term. More than an opportunity to earn a grade, these assessments are a chance for students to demonstrate the growth, knowledge, and skills they have developed over the past several weeks.

Every book has the power to leave a lasting mark, and sharing it can inspire someone else to discover new stories. With this idea in mind, “Protagonistas de Lectura” was born, a reading initiative led by the CRAC that invites our students to become ambassadors for the books that have impacted them the most.Through their recommendations, students share their experiences, reflect on the messages they discovered in each work, and develop skills such as communication, critical thinking, and the ability to express their ideas. More than simply recommending a book, they become role models for their peers, sparking curiosity and fostering a love of reading. At El Hontanar, we believe that reading is also about sharing. Every recommended story is a new opportunity to learn, imagine, and continue building a community where books connect, inspire, and transform lives..
