The happiness of your children is our highest priority. At Gimnasio El Hontanar, we strongly believe in your dreams and those of your children, therefore we focus on the harmonious development of their abilities and we work with them to meet their needs.
How do we make it possible?
We teach through games, art, and literature. In these areas our children find better learning opportunities by exploring their environment, developing their cognitive process, strengthening their memory, language, problem solving, and planning.
We explore the world through physical, artistic, social-emotional, and communication development.
We consider education based on life-skills by encouraging bilingualism, arts, sports, human and social development.
PROJECTS FILLED WITH LOVE AND LESSONS
Our children become happy readers and writers naturallly and spontaneously thanks to a fun and unique project.The letters take endless shapes: they begin as sounds and acquire a significant meaning for the children´s lives and their communicative learning.
Self-contained teachers (as of transition) and English teachers work hand in hand with the children. We begin the English teaching with an emotional bond, through everyday games and activities that help them discover new worlds.
A market, a zoo, a village, etc. Everything can become an interdisciplinary project that guides your children in the learning of different abilities, such as counting coins, going around in circles, measuring spaces, negotiating, knowing other cultures, and even creating a new country.
THE JOY OF GROWING AND LEARNING
We offer warm and joyful spaces for your children to learn while they have fun.During the year, we organize two important artistic projects, filled with colors, singing, and dancing. The first one is completed by the end of the first semester, and the other project takes place at the end of the school year.
